"About 5 years ago, as my husband and I were preparing for our wedding, and getting ready for our bachelor and bachelorette weekends, two weeks before our wedding, we got a phone call that his little sister had completely unexpectedly passed away. As expected, all of our worlds were rocked and we were devastated. She was to be a bridesmaid along with her sister as they had grown to be my “sisters” long before we had gotten even engaged. Fast forward to a few months ago I heard my mother-in-law say she was sad that she would never have a photo of all of her adult children together due to other circumstances as well. When I heard that and saw an ad for these paintings it was a no-brainer this is what I wanted to get her for her birthday in April. While the painting was technically for her it was really something I wanted to do for all of our family’s hearts as I obviously wanted a photo of how the family picture was supposed to look at our wedding. The painting could not have been more perfect and special for us for many years to come.
