Her passing was extremely hard on my mother and our family. "We had this painting made for my husband, Anthony. Over 30 years ago, he lost his baby daughter Brittany at the age of 9 months. Since this was before the digital age he only had two pictures of her and not a single picture holding her in his arms. We have 4 other children, their spouses, their children, and me, who never got to meet Brittany, but we love her still because my husband loves her. She is our sister, aunt, and daughter. We can’t fill the hole left in my husband`s heart by her passing, but this picture gave my husband something impossible to recreate: the memory of holding her in his arms. This giant painting now hangs above our fireplace and will have a permanent home there for the years to come."

Well her grandma Z passed in 1997 way before I was in the picture and certainly before our 3-year-old daughter came into the picture.
